I teach classes because I enjoy helping people learn. I especially enjoy it when I can help someone get past a barrier, such as showing them that shooting in manual mode or using Photoshop isn’t that scary.
Adult Digital Photography Classes
5 Session Course
This 5-session course is designed to teach adult students how to get the most out of their cameras and how to photograph a variety of subjects. It is for beginners or those who want to brush up on their skills. Instruction includes discussions of camera settings, equipment choices and composition. This course also covers sports, event, landscape, wildlife, lightning, firework and night-sky photography. You will get the most out of these classes if you have an interchangeable-lens camera. Photography using cell phones is not covered. You have the flexibility of registering for the classes that suit your learning needs and your schedule. A discount is given for signing up for all 5 sessions.
All sessions are held at the First & Main YMCA at 3035 New Center Point, Colorado Springs, CO 80922 from 1-5 pm, except for session 5, which is virtual.
Private Photoshop and Lightroom/Camera Raw Sessions
Are you intimidated and confused by Photoshop every time you open it? Do you dread the process of editing your photos?
